National Tourism Platform – Visit Bulgaria
Visit Bulgaria was developed as a national tourism platform presenting Bulgaria through destinations, travel experiences, routes, events and practical travel information.
The main objective was to organise a large volume of tourism content into a clear digital structure, allowing both Bulgarian and international visitors to discover places of interest, plan their trips and explore different regions of the country.

Challenge
The project required structuring a large volume of multilingual content without making navigation difficult across desktop and mobile devices.
Destinations, tourism categories, seasonal offers, routes and events needed to be connected in a logical and intuitive way. At the same time, the system had to support continuous content updates without requiring major restructuring of the website.
Another important challenge was performance, given the large number of images, videos, maps, location pages and regularly updated tourism content.

Solution
We built the platform around the way users naturally search for travel inspiration — by destination, type of tourism, route, season or event.
We developed multilingual navigation, search and filtering functionality, and dedicated structures for destinations, categories and practical travel information. Pages were organised with a clear content hierarchy, SEO-friendly URLs and structured metadata to support search engine indexing.
The interface guides visitors between related destinations, tourism experiences and trip-planning resources while maintaining a consistent and recognisable presentation of Bulgaria as a travel destination.
